Bank CTBC Indonesia holds a full commitment toward Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as an important element in running a business. In line with that, Bank CTBC Indonesia has designed programs to increase its employees’ awareness on the importance of giving back to the community. These programs have been continuously implemented through various activities that not only benefit the surrounding environment, but also motivate employee’s involvement in charities.
One of the yearly routine CSR agenda is to cooperate with Indonesia’s Red Cross (PMI) in organizing blood donation activity which participated by its employees from Directors to staff, including employees from other companies nearby. Through this activity, the Company hoped that the donation could help PMI disseminating blood to those who needs them.
Other routine agenda is to visit places such as orphanage, nursing homes, etc and give donation in order to ease the burden of the less fortunate citizens.
